Help with chest. - Sunday, July 27, 2008 11:29 PM ( #1 )
Hi, im new here and i have a couple questions. First off, im really skinny im 5"6 and 109

pounds. right now i can bench 120 (1 rep). shoulders 65 (set of 6), biceps 55 (set of 6), and tri's 55(

set of 5). Now when im benching i go slow. I've been told that slower is better but i get to the

bottom of the bench and start to push and i just cant budge it. Am i supposed to be slamming

the bar upwards? Also i have very skinny wrists could that be affecting it?

just keep working at it man look at your weight what do you expect to bench? and going slow doesn't matter except most people want to go faster for sports so they are more explosive.

when i bench, sometimes on the last hard reps i bring the bar down slow, and then try to explode up, but if your having such a hard time getting the weight up, then lower it
