Hello Everyone - Sunday, February 19, 2006 5:28 AM
Hello Everyone

I would like to take this chance to introduce myself as I think this forum is really going to be a great help to me in reaching my goals.

I am 26 years old. I have always really been interested in fitness and body building and this comes from going to a competition when I was 16 years old. It was amazing to see the figures on the women and I hold the highest respect for the hard work and dedication it takes to reach even an ok standard.

I currently weigh about 126Ibs, I am 5'6. Because I have always one to the gym I would describe myself as muscular in the respect you can tell I go to the gym but I would really like to take things to the next level. I want the definition and I know my major downfall is that im not to experienced in the nutrition side of things.

Well thats just about enought from me but a BIG hello to everyone.

Thanks

Linzi

Hi llthrlnd,

Not sure if your post implies some questions, but we need a bit more details (current workouts, nutrition, etc) in order to help.  I'm 5'6" also and eight months ago I weighed 125 and was pretty jiggly even though I was working out regularly.  Now, I weigh 107 and am pleasantly defined (not to toot my own horn because it has been hard work inspired by a sincerely aggressive boyfriend who knows what he's doing, and the results have been surprising even to me!).  Anyway, would love to keep in touch and help out in any way I can.  I also am very interested in nutrition, fat loss, anti-aging, and strength training.  I spend a great deal of time researching clinical studies on holistic nutrition...meaning food, supplements, and vitamins, so I may be able to help or point you in the right direction in this area as well.  By the way, I'm 33.  Look forward to hearing from you again.

New to this board too. Hope to glean some knowledge and inspiration, as well as to give some back. Just a little background:

I am 31, married with 2 little girls. Got into fitness trying to get rid of the extra weight. Now I am 'hooked' ! I used to be sz 16 and weigh 185lbs, bow (7 months later) I am sz 6 and weigh 138lbs. AND it goes without saying how much better I feel! I am also excited to model healthy lifestyle to my 2 daughters as well.

My goal at the moment to lean out (I built enough muscle for now) and get an 8-pack ;)

Here are 'before' and 'after' pix. Quality is not the best.
