Humatrope is Eli Lilly's brand name for hGH. hGH will make you taller if your bone ends haven't yet hardened, which happens to most people at puberty. I am guessing you mean your pituitary gland was damaged, and that would delay the bone-end hardening.

Just be grateful that those drugs are available! An old roommate of mine was diagnosed with a benign tumor in his pituitary, it was throwing his hormone balance way off. Once he started taking medication to treat it, his hormone balance returned to normal.
