Heat lamps to heal up muscle aches and pulls :( - Thursday, November 01, 2007 10:26 AM ( #1 )
Ok so i once was injured and borrowed my coaches heat lamp, it did **** all and i found out i had injured my bone, and heat lamps are for muscle injuries, not bones.

My friend borrowed it before because of a muscle pain and said he could actually feel the muscle opening up and it felt a hell of alot better...

Onto my question.

So i was playing in a soccer match and went down for a save and pulled my sholder, its hurting like hell and ive only being able to do legs all week, and even then it hurt to squat, and secure the barbell on my traps, so do you guys think if i borrow my coaches heat lamp and set it on my injured sholder (along with some ice, heat, ice, heat technique) that it will help it heal up?

P.s - i was thinking, uno after leg day (for me any way) my whole legs kill cos of how hard i push them, wouldnt a heat lamp help them and other muscles on different muscle days to heal up nice and quick too?

ice for 30, off for 30. Heat will work too, but ice is your best friend. Also, Rest. Here your equation:

Rest+Ice+Heat=Remedy For Healing
Current Supplements: Multi, Whey, Caffeine, BCAA, Vitamin C, Calcium
Current Cycle: Strength
