Do you use a flavored protein powder or natural? This looks pretty tasty....I love pineapple!

OK, I done whipped up a loaf and had two slices (one from the heel, cause you gots to check the crust, and one from inside), and here's my report: It's not bad. The biggest problem I have with it is that it's a little bit bland. The next time I make it, I'll try subbing 1/3 cup Orange Juice concentrate for the milk (though you add a lot of carbs that way, about 3g/slice, so I'll probably swap out a bit of flour for some more protein powder -- actually, I want to do that anyway, as 1/2 cup of the protein I used is only 54g, so my final bread is actually closer to 19g carbs, 6g protein). Bottom line: It's a keeper. Three other notes: The recipe calls for 2-3 Tbsp. of poppy seeds... Unless you love poppy seeds, 2 Tbsp. is plenty. This bread was pretty dense (it's a 2 pound loaf), but that might have been because my baking powder and baking soda are pretty old and might not have much action left in them. I'll probably pick up some wheat gluten, and mix a bit into the bread next time I make it. This will raise the protein level and also help with the leavening a bit.
