For all you fried chicken lovers... 1 Boneless skinless chicken breast.. 1/2 cup of whole oats 1 tsp of mined garlic 1/4 cup of fat free milk 3 tbs of egg whites or egg beaters. 1 tsp of your favorite poultry season. 1 can of non stick spray or virgin olive oil 1 cut the chiken into chunks 2 mix the milk and egg in a bowl and place the chicken chunks in the mixture to soak. 3 take the whole oats and grid them into power.. in a food processor.. 4 empty the groud oats into a bowl and add the minced garlic 5: take the chicken chunks out of the liquid and put them into the ground oats and garlic, completely cover.. 6: head a skillet on the stove with either the olive oil or non stick spray.. once hot... 7: put the chicken in and let cook on each side for a few minutes.. dosn't take long.. while cooking.. sprinkle on your fav season.. OR... you can add the seasoning to the groud oats before you roll the chicken.. cook until done.. usually about 4 minutes or so.. on med high heat.. dip in your favorite dipping sauce.. Guilt free fried chicken nuggets....

Hmm. I've never actually heard of using oatmeal in place of breadcrumbs

You should use extra light olive oil for the cooking. Extra virgin will be damaged by the heat.

Sorry boys but i have to sadly admit this ain't even close to mama's fried chicken... If mama knew i was posting such a shameless substitute, she would probably kick my ass... if it's any consolation.. it looks and smells unhealthy as hell
