Have been in the gym lately - Sunday, September 13, 2009 7:10 AM ( #1 )
I'm 19 years old. I have always lifted some weight here and there all through high school, but lately, I have been much more serious and consistent about it. I would ideally want to gain some muscle mass, but for now, I would really appreciate it if I can get any inputs from the picture. I'm not asking because I'm self-conscious or anything, but I would really like to know how I am so far. (When I look at myself in the mirror, or even looking at myself in a picture, sometimes it looks okay but sometimes I don't feel that way, I'm too used to judging my own body by now).

there are no apparent imbalances, however if you worked out all through high school and maintained a good diet you could have been alot further along!  you're gonna have to eat, more than you've ever eatin in your life. good thing is though you're starting off with a low body fat% so that'll save you some precious cutting time later.

read this front to back then back to the front then back to the back 5 times over.  take this routine and eat like a cow when you're on it...the healthiest eating cow ever. whole foods, milk, gotta love milk, meat gotta love that too. pretty much no junk food. check back in with some new pics after about 6 months and you'll be amazed...as long as you stay consistent with workouts and diet.
first day with no buds, 11/17, need a new job. 1 down 13 to go.

You look fairly cut up, but your extremely small, if you wanna gain muscle your gonna have to eat ALOT more.

I'll be honest. You can't actually tell that you lift. Start eating, work out how much you should be eating, and get a good routine. Stay dedicated and document your progress.

What do you specifically do nowadays. What does your diet look like?

I honestly can't tell you even workout.

Dude, bulk up, shove some dense calories food in front of your face, and LIFT.

I suggest a routine consisting of all compound movements, so that you can focus on the big/general picture. Then EAT.

If you do it right and consistently add weights to the bar, I could see you adding around 30 pounds in the next 12 months or so.
