Let me check for you, none of those guys are ringing my bell, except the Wonder Years, and I have no recolection of them at the moment.

I will check, but as as far as I can tell, our tastes are very different so If my people tell me it is crap, you (and no offense at all, it is just a taste issue purely), then you might like it to pieces.

Let me check with the young ones, they know who they are, and what is simular.

I will reccommend from Philly origins bands, Armilite (warning old punks, in the best possible silliest sense), Espers, (warning Hippies! yikes, but a decent Jam band), and The Roots (the kids still know the roots, right??)

you know I never forgot abut this request, but I just never came up with anything, that fit your requirements.

However, as I was listening to music last night for some reason your sign in poped into my head, when I ws listening to Pulp.

I have no idea how common they are (i really don't), quite frankly they could have hit super big when they came out and everybody knows them and Hates them.

but for pop punk perfection, damn this song is so freakin good, I figured I would post it for you. Not Philly band though...

I think you might like it, but most likely you know it and hate it.

Jay Reatard is some awesome straight old school punk, done by a young kid, damn fine, worth looking into.

Hey, I am well rounded! I like almost everything if it is gooood.

I have no idea how common Pulp is here, just rather popular with some friends of mine, which is where I first heard them.

I hang out with music geeks... of all kinds.

Nice clip, thanks for the vid!
