Hair Removal
-

I know most of you here are younger and may not have this problem yet. Heres my questions: 1. What areas if not all do you remove hair from to show off your muscles? 2. What products do you use to take hair off? 3. Do you keep hair off or let it grow back until you need to show again? Thanks, WD

Wetdawg I know most of you here are younger and may not have this problem yet. Heres my questions: 1. What areas if not all do you remove hair from to show off your muscles? Everything. 2. What products do you use to take hair off? I have used laser--this I used for certain areas. And it is permanant. It is also expenisve. wax--this hurts but it works and shaving. I use a five blade razor and a cream based shaving cream. You can also use hair conditionor. I have never used stuff like nair. 3. Do you keep hair off or let it grow back until you need to show again? with waxing you have to let it grow back. shaving it off is best because once you feel/see it you can get rid of it! Thanks, WD

Thanks Jane! Why is it you don't use nair? to harsh? I'm having a bit of trouble getting rid of the hair....not the "coming off" part, but the "can i really do this" part A. Why does a 47 year old need to take his hair off B. I got alot more than I had when I was 25, I may need help to get it all I keep thinking I'm going to look like a bald Gorilla and will have to wait til it grows back in to get out of the house. Does Arnold still wax?

How much hair do you have WD? Back hair? Stomach hair? Chest hair? Neck Hair? If all three are a yes, shave it. If you're a good Irishman like myself, and only have armpit hair, you don't really need to shave it. Though it is much more visually pleasing. Also, and I'm being totally serious. If you have hair on your gooch (the area under your penis and under your butt), or between your buttcheeks, do not shave it. I repeat DO NOT shave it. Have it waxed or laser it. DO NOT SHAVE. DO NOT SHAVE. If you want to know why, drop a cactus down your pants and try walking. That's what it feels like three days later.

My Irish side wore off at about 36 years of age. Then the German part took over. I don't have a care Bear back by no means. Just light forearm, shoulder, chest and stomach. I'm getting hair where I don't want it and no hair where I need it.

I have waxed my forearms before, I noticed the more I did not finer and patchy it grew back. I shave them now. I actually have used nair before...once then never again. It made my skin red and burn. I keep thinking I'm going to look like a bald Gorilla and will have to wait til it grows back in to get out of the house. Does Arnold still wax?

Shave it all WD. It's just hair.

I'm so hairy now that I hope as I get older the exact opposite happens. Nothing worse than back hair because you can't take care of it yourself. Sucks.

you can improve the look a lot just by trimming too. get you a good beard trimmer or hair clippers and put it on the lowest setting and go to town. shaving works but it doesn't last long and can leave razor burns. never used wax, but... yikes! i am curious about nair or other chemicals. i plan on trying one out but have not yet.

fyi.. just so you know.. laser hair removal is NOT permanent. it takes several treatments, that are somewhat costly, AND can be painful. And you have to keep doing it every once in a while. the myth about laser hair removal being permanent is just that... a myth. it's permanent ONLY... and only if you do keep going back and getting the areas RE-lasered.
