Yeah, you wanna find out relative 15 rep maxes and stuff before you do it, but bri pointed out that if you think your 15 rep max is say, 185, do 70% of 170 so you don't stall out halfway.

Did you guys find all your maxes like 15,10 and 5 before the program or did you find your maxes as you went along?

I'm about to start HST with this routine. Just wondering since I would like to start it this coming monday is it possible (and advised) to find my RM for each exercise/rep range 4 days before I start? Doesn't seem possible to find my RM for all rep ranges in one day so i'm wondering if I could possibly guesstimate my 10 rep after finishing my 15RM (today) and my 5RM(saturday) giving me both friday and sunday to rest before i start. or should i just find everythng out thurs/fri/sat? thanks

well i think there are actually a couple ways of doing this. my second round of doing it i found just my rep max for 5's. I then based everything off that. I knew if i had a 3x5 rep max of 180 on bench and i knew i would bench x amount of times in a 8 weeks time frame than i would just work backwards. really you could do this with 10's or the 15's too. i chose to go with 5's that way if at the end of week 8 and i feel i could still progress i would do so on the 5's
No the leg press is not the same as doing squats.

You think if I switch front squats to quad extensions (not sure if you call them that) it would be ok. Its only that 1 exercise for the leg day and if not what should I replace it with ?

Do I have to do the isolations? certain things I just simply don't have the equimnet for. Is it ok to skip them? will it hurt my gains if I leave out Side raises, leg press, DB flys, rear DB laterals?

No, Isolations aren't necessary. As long as you're doing the basic compound lifts you'll be fine. ORIGINAL: kingyoto ORIGINAL: kingyoto ORIGINAL: smoundzou Yet......what are ya saying???
