Thats a great transformation, congrats on everything from the gym to the bed...lol. Is it proven that it was the drugs/food/drinking that burned your test? Does this happen to guys who take care of themselves too? and as far as the HRT did they give you something like tribulus? you look good man, great job!

Does this happen to guys who take care of themselves too? No Not everyone...I'm 44,have tried every drug available and damn near drank milwakee dry(In my younger days) but I never had any Libido problems(well, maybe too much...LOL) But your test levels do tend to drop off as you get older. I'd be interested to hear exactly what HRT involves or what it is for that matter....

yeah its not the drugs and drinking the drop in test levels as the doc said.. It is more to do with the age.. its sorta like menopause for women.. a drop in hormone levels

ORIGINAL: Tawney bulkingup- with HRT they check your blood and if you have low testosterone levels they suppliment it with testosterone injections. In my case I was very low- less than 1% free test in my blood, so they have me on a prescribed 200mg per week. I also am prescribed HCG and arimidex as part of the treatment which protects my 'ball' function, and keeps my estrogen in check. You can learn a lot about HRT by googling dr crisler for his "recipe for sucess" or by just reading other online HRT research. I've heard guys on these boards describe it as kind of like a low dose cycle that is prescribed for medical reasons that keeps your testosterone levels strong and stable- and in the top 25% of most natural men. Oh ...OK...That makes sense...Good to know its out there if needed,,,Ya never know...LOL...I am going to google it,seems pretty interesting to me! Thanks

I did a little more readin cause I was going to ask you what normal test levels were since you said your 300 is low. Normal is 900-1100, So with your treatment, do you have to keep using HRT to keep your test levels up and running? or will your body eventually jump start production again?

For the record, what Al is describing is steroid use. This is not HRT, but rather a low dose testosterone cycle. The HCG will also shoot up your testosterone. Arimidex is to prevent the conversion of testosterone into estrogen, which can cause a world of problems when taking testosterone injections. Keep in mind that improper use of any of these can have serious side effects, and it is very easy to improperly use them. Al, forgive me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that this is a steroid free forum. I don't know why you would come here to peak the interest of a mostly young demographic into using steroids. Your an older guy. You should know better.

So on top of the synthetic test that was perscribed to you they also perscribe HCG pregnyl and spike your own natural test levels. Diet / Training may not be as much of a factor considering he was just suffering from low test count and they basically juiced him up. At his age it had a very good reaction on his body and matured muscle. Very interesting, My father just had his checked and I can tell you I think he suffers from the same problem. Did you know that can actually lead to heart attacks? I had no clue but I was doing a study on male andro pause.

Al- My jealous undertones and I thought I recognized you from another board. I was right. http://www.steroidology.com/forum/showthread.php?t=127672&highlight=tawney Its funny, you go to one board and post it as a steroid cycle, don't like what you hear, then come here where most members are not steroid users to try to get accepted? I stand by my comments x2. He is medically prescribed it to bring his testosterone levels up. That's not steroid use. Ridiculous argument.

I don't fight steriod fights ( I am ignorant of such matters) , so I sat back and watched. And Bulking's contributions had me really second guessing my initial instincts. Not to mention there is certainly a place for hormone replacement therepy as perscribed by a doctor, for the appropriate reasons. If it is for other reasons professional sports enhancement and such, well that is not what we do here, or if it is done, honesty and disclosure is important.
