ok heres the thing, this guy added me to msn, i dont know why, well anyway this guy friggin went on the internet and started posting around that i raped someone all this crap look here (this is the only fourum im signed up for,and please i need help, i know it has nothing to do with bodybuilding but help me please)

what makes you think he will listen to a person who claims to be a police officer?... go to the polive yourself if its that much of a problem and get them to sort it out.

look where you're posting...totse is known for having immature people all about it...mainly because all the articles in the site are about bs ways to do stupid things when you're bored...i really dont think the police can help you here...sorry man

You see, if you'd actually read the this entire FAQ, you'd know that the vast majority of the articles that appear on this site were contributed by the readers of the site. Most of the people who contribute articles are highly intelligent, certifiable genuises who know exactly what they're talking about and can explain their vast knowledge in an easy-to-understand way.
Then again, some of the readers of this site are certifiable lunatics who couldn't use a screwdriver without injuring themselves. Although the information they provide may be wildly inaccurate, we're not going to try to censor their insane ramblings. Instead, we provide the data they provide "as is", and leave it for the reader to sort out truth from fiction. After all, the only way you're ever going to learn to use that brain of yours is if you give it some exercise.
Lastly, if you disagree with the facts or the viewpoint of one of the articles written here, submit an article of your own! The great thing about free speech is that it cuts both ways -- you're free to speak as well.

It doesnt seem like they care. What they dont seem to understand is that freedom of speech is not free of consequences.
There really isnt much you can do about it....Dont use that userid anymore and let it go or....
You could always sue the guy that wrote it and the company for hosting it for defamation. however, im not sure how effective this will be.

Most likely, you'll get nothing done about it. No cop, or FBI agent, is really going to waste their time trying to clean up the net- There's too much of this sort of crap out there for them to wade through effectively, and even though there are some laws governing the net, enforcing those laws can prove to be a real pain. In fact, I'm willing to bet the only way they'd go out of their way to investigate this thing is if there was an actual rape, with an actual victim somewhere, and you're being accused of it- That post would be a lead a competent officer would have to follow up on to disprove it, and the guy who posted the misinfo would probably end up getting a not so friendly visit from his local PD.
But if there's no specific rape investigation, the only way you can really push the issue is to get yourself a lawyer- A good lawyer, if you feel your name is being tarnished, will be able to get the authorization to find out who's posting the stuff, and get enough evidence together for a lawsuit, and possible prosecution.

I know I'm very new around here but meh...there is always the possibilities that the 5-0 will do something and to be honest I would try and get them to do something. The forum there has the actual threats and they do log their IP address’. He claims to have your actually address and therefore can give it out freely to anyone that he wants further increasing your personal danger level (assuming he has it). It is really up to you what you do with it at this point, I am just saying what I would personally do. . . Seeing as these people seem to be quite the computer MSN type of people it might be wise to contact MSN Messenger and tell them about what has been happening with all the people adding you and threatening/harassing you. They will issue a warning to these people or even go as far as banning them from messenger (not sure if it’s via address or IP however). . . A warning went to a friend of mine before, they blocked his communication or something while they confronted him or something like that; I believe to prove that they were not just some losers... sounds lame I know, but it is one way of letting people know that you are serious.
Internet crime is just as bad as ‘real life’ crime, don’t let it stand…

Now the guy says hes going to find this guy since he know where he lives and such. That guys messed. Anyways if someone like that was doing that too me I would want them to come down to me and I'd beat the living crap out of them to teach them to not do that stuff.
I bet the guy who is doing that stuff is some 30 year old guy 90 pounds and lives in his mommmas basement.
