-
Saturday, July 08, 2006 6:59 AM
hey im almost 17 and new to the bodybuilding scene and have a few questions - what are some good ways to build up my triceps( please include explanation aswel [sm=tongue.gif])
- what are some alternatives rather than jogging for cardio workout
- I currently don't have any protein shake/powders and i have read that before cardio 1st thing in the morning you are meant to consume protein, what food can eat at this time for the same effect?
any help will be greatly appreciated

1. For triceps you can do skullcrushers/french press, dips, tricep pushdowns, close grip bench press, and tricep extensions. 2. swimming, bike, rowing, a sport like basketball or soccer, calesthenics(hope thats spelled right) 3. Oatmeal, eggs, peanut butter, Muscle Milk... Hope that helps you out some.
If it wasn't painfully difficult then you didn't do it right age:18 5' 81/2" 173 lbs goal : 195 supplements: Multi, fish oil

If i do cardio first thing in the morning and only water no food, will there be any disadvantages? or just not as good gains? I am currently doing 4 sessions a week of cardio for 30mins each. how long until i will have noticable gains and is 4x30mins a week suitable or should i do more?

I am currently doing 4 sessions a week of cardio for 30mins each. how long until i will have noticable gains and is 4x30mins a week suitable or should i do more? If you are trying to gain weight cardio is going to eat up calories that could otherwise be helping you gain. I have a problem with this because I like to run for long long periods of time so I add about 800 extra calories to my diet for it. For your question cardio 4 times a week for 30 min. is great. I fyou do it in the morning with no food you will burn up something on your body whether it's fat or muscle depends on your genetics.
