Guidelines for this forum --- Please Read before posting
This forum is for exploring what the experts in Sports Nutrition, Physiology, etc are discussing, discovering, researching and writing about. By experts think Ph.D. in a sports related field. The goal is to post comments with relevant references
we find about the most current and relevant science and practice, and then explore and discuss ways to apply it practically to our training
Each new thread must feature a reference to an article, audio, video, research paper, topic or other information as reported by an expert
. There must be a link or reference to the source for all to see. When possible there should be a link to the seminal work
meaning the original source of information presented not just the comment on it.
Example: You are studying to be a personal trainer and find something exciting in the ACE Personal Training Manual. The ACE manual is NOT a seminal work, however it does reference the science behind most of its statements. If you find something is exciting, please reference the original source
as well as the ACE manual so that we can investigate and discuss the underlying information.
Alternately, you could find an interesting article in Delicious magazine with a reference to some research that you want to discuss!
Once a new topic is posted anyone may post in that topic. All posts and comments in this forum are moderated.
So, your posts may not immediately appear and occasionally there may be a lag due to the moderators having a life outside of Discussing Bodybuilding. You can create a new tread in this forum
To create a new topic thread in this forum you simply need to adhere to the simple guidelines:
- Reference an article, audio, video, research paper, topic or other information as reported by an expert that discusses something relevant to health, fitness, bodybuilding and related topics.
- Provide a link or as complete a reference as possible so others can check it out.
- Note the key points that you found interested or wanted to discuss and why.
- Label the post in a manner that makes the key topic evident.
New topics need to be approved. What this forum is not
This forum is not a place to post your own articles (unless you are an expert presenting your own well referenced research.) Please use the Post Your Own Articles forum for that.
This forum is not for flaming or disparaging the opinions of others, such comments are not likely to be approved. Find something you just have to share?
Lets have some fun!
