Lou ferrigno, as a perosn as much as a bodybuilder, is to this day a very humble person, who has triumphed over adversity. He was also a giant when he competed, 6,5 270.

no one will ever come close to the physiques of those guys....the physiques then and now are so different and its so obvious how unnatural the guys like ronnie and jay are its so stupid. and one day you guys will see me standing up there with the best without having to take pro hormones and/or steroids. still got 6-8 years till my peak i cant wait! :)

It's Arnie. He revolutionised BB. Ronnie Coleman is a joke.

My vote: The Governator

That back is insane...but I love Frank Zane, that pose in his picture (above) is amazing.

Frank Zane was good but Serge Nubret had WAY better aesthetics and proportions IMO

how does dennis wolf back look in proportion???? I don't get it fellas? Arnold savier of bodybuilding? LOL! those guys (70's) look natural? LOL! Franco was a a$$, what kind of guy enters a strongman contest and foolishly runs with a frig on his back, breaks his leg and sues? shorty after that that sport was forced overseas where the americans disappeared for over a decade.

If that staue of "hercules" from 1700's was accurate than that would be the true definition of the greatest bodybuilder IMO. I don't get it? whats with beauty pagent thing? pretty abs, under 5% bodyfat makes these guys look like "pencil necks" with muscles. bodybuilding= strong, powerful, mountain moving. leaness yet still powerful looking, a wider waist (heavily muslced) yet not a "gut", large neck, ect. thats what the "real" herc. had!!!

I must say though at least ronnie and yates big bellies are sorta in proportion with the arms and pecs. I never saw any great leg devoplment in "pumping iron" (even what could be "natural" leg development) those guys kinda remind me of the porno girls with oversized fake boobs.
