Not sure if this is right place to ask this but...

I'm 18 years old and i'm horribly skinny.. like 145lbs. i just started lifting and i've been trying to eat at least 6 meals a day. on to my question. here is a picture of me...

Yes i know i'm pale and weak.. please don't hate.

But as you can see i have a condition or deformity if you will, called pectus carinatum. you can see that some of my ribs poke out on my right side right where it meets the sternum. so my question is if i keep bench pressing, lifting, and gaining weight do you think that will cover it up or just make it stick out more?

Thanks for any advice/insight.

Not very good quality image but it doesn't appear to be that bad... I would think if you develop the muscle, it would definitely help cover it up..

I agree with smoundzou. However I know that I goto school for accounting and finance, what do I know? I would strongly suggest asking your doctor.

Not sure about the ribs things, but I just wanted to point out that you are NOT pale and weak, and I doubt that anyone would hate you!  Hell, if I had that build I would be pretty damned pleased with my body....

Well it wont wont become more visable through weight lifting. But I think it will become less visable due to the fact that it will be one of the last things people will look at when your packin muscle all over. Kind of like how a man who is balding grows out a goatee so that it takes some of the attention away from his balding. I would defenitly go on a healthy bulk and shoot up your weight to atleast 170 im guessing your 5'6-5'9?

I'm fairly tall actually... a bit over 6ft i think. and currently weigh 150lbs. i'm aiming for about 180lbs long term goal.

Can you tell me the difference between a a clean bulk and a dirty bulk? benefits?

Oh and btw here is a new picture of me.
