Good weight to stop bulking???
-
Saturday, September 16, 2006 11:36 PM
I am currently 6'3" and 196(creatine water weight present)about 190 without my BF is in the low teens, and I started lifting at 159lbs. Im thinking of waiting till I hit a healthy 215-220 before I cut down a bit. I am an ecto/meso... though showing alot more signs of meso in the past 4 months. Is this a good place for me to stop for the time being? Strength is something that is second on my list. Size is really prime target.

I think you and me are in a similar boat I started around 150lbs too, and am 6'4. Right now I weigh about 212lbs (with mono) and I think I'm getting very close to my ideal weight. I'm not going to have a set number though, the best way to judge when to stop gaining weight is when you see the weight that you want, and you realize there is a point when you feel "too big". My guess is that for me, that point will probably be around a lean 215-220lbs as well.

I dont know if I'll ever see that too big signal though. Id like to basically push my body to its genetic potential naturally without steroids, PH, and stuff. I think around that weight I may take a temp break, cut for a summer then start up again and see how far I can go "until I can't goez no further"

It depends how much BF% you have and how easy you can rid of the damn stuff. If you burn fat off very fast and very easily, id say go around 10-20lbs above your wanted weight, and start cutting like MAD, it will take off a 1lbs or 2 of muscle, but it will literally shed all fat off real fast, and you have a lot of weight to play around with, so it doesnt matter if you lose too much muscle because youre punching in at 20lbs over the wanted weight anyway. If you burn fat off slowly and have a lot of it, id suggest bulking big time, go 30-40lbs above your wanted weight, and then cut, it gives you a much higher number, so when you start cutting, you can lose a good realistic 5-10lbs of muscle and not worry about being too small once the cutting has been done I want to be 220lbs 5-7% BF at 6ft, so my plan is to bulk to 240lbs ish and then shed it off
It's impossible to meddle with something that doesn't have a plan

when I cut I want to stay as "cut supp" free as possible, with the exception of mabey and anti-cortisol to retain all the muscle I can. Would anyone reccomend this, I was thinking Lean extreme unless there are others, or more natural and cost effective ways of doing so.
