I don't know about the rest of you, but for a poor guy like me, I need more quantity then quality when it comes to buying food and making it last (but still healthy), so this steak is what I make, but the huge costco bulk kinds.  I just purchase the 5lb of beef round roast and:

1.) Cut the roast into slices about 1cm.  Cut the fatty part and throw it away.

2.) Put all the slices into a big pot and add ground black pepper, minced garlic, sliced onions, 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce (I use the one with hickory smoke), 1/2 cup of teriaki sauce (try to find the asian one, not the american one), parsley flakes, and 1/4 cup seseme seeds.

3.) Mix it around and let that sucker marinate in the fridge for about an hour or two.

4.) Pack 3-5 slices in each ziplock bag, seal it tight without air inside, and pop them in the freezer.

Anytime you get hungry, just take a bag out, defrost, and stir-fry w/ half tea-spoon of olive oil.  It's great to eat with a bowl of salad, but brown rice is also fine if it's in the afternoon or if you're not on your cutting cycle.

It's pretty tasty, and it only cost 15 bucks to make 10 ziplock bags of meat (without the cost of condiments).  Try it out if you like...works for me! Smile

I like how you threw in how to make it convenient for later meals, too.  Sounds pretty good; I'll have to give this one a try.  I'm a sucker for sesame seeds . . .

Hee hee.  Thanks.  And before the meat gets frozen in the freezer, it has a chance to marinate as well.  Great stuff. Smile
