I'm looking for a good post workout drink w/good mix of carbs and protein. Gentle on the pocketbook, with a good amount of servings in one contianer. Any suggestions. Or a build your own protein drink if you have suggestion. Thanks

71g of protein in one serving is a little much. The body is going to have troubles digesting that much protein. Something with high calories that I like is serious mass. It has 52g of protein per serving and 1200 calories. You can get it in 6 or 12 lb bulks. I bought the 6 pounds for 17 bucks not too long ago. It also containes glutamine and a bunch of other stuff. And tastes good to boot. One thing about post workout shakes is you should mix them with water. Water breaks down faster in the body so the protein will be carryed to the muscles faster.

need something that isnt going to kill my calorie intake per day as well. 1200 calories would put me well over my range in one shake.
