well I made 4th, not sure why, I felt I was in top 3 for sure, but I do know a few politics that prob affected me so now I am happy to be free of this arena and into Nationals.
I am a newbie again, this federation nationals I have never done so I will have to climb the ranks and learn the politics for this but although there are heavy politics in non tested shows at least now I am at a level where I am new and fresh on stage and can learn as I go if at that level I am not suitable in size.
I think size was a bit of a factor the 2 top girls were the 2 I know are larger than I, the girl who got 3rd was a suprise, but she was lean and her posing was better I guess.
I was giong to ask the head judge but a this point I just wanted to get to nats, and I am so screw the rest of it, I am moving on!!!!
Unfortunatley there are always athletes sleeping with judges, related to those running the show or coached by them and i was the only gal who has real boobs which may be one of the marks against me but since when does taht have to do with how fit you are, but again, that is part of politics.
Whatever, I can go back to nats yearly until I get my pro card but I have 3 weeks to get my feet wet and am going to come in even more ripped since this time I will be between pms cycles without water or flat issues.......flat seems to be what my biggest issue was, being smaller already since most of these gals larger and doing things to get that way which I do not.......i looked then even smaller when flat.
Funny thing is, many people looked at me as I was leaving stage and said they were not surprised at the way it turned out considering a few factors and to be honest I am not either except for the 3rd place but I heard she was now also being coached by someone who has pull so there you go.
I refuse to go kiss up, sleep with or hire poeple in order to place well............placing well should reflect our hard work not our social skills but taht is how it goes and I would sooner take steriods than do these social options and at this point it may be the only way to my pro card.....but I don't want it that bad I don't think so  will keep training and get bigger naturally and not get hung up in the politics.......as hard as that is.

Congratulations on making the top 5 and moving up to nationals.  Forget the politics, you’ll always be champ around here (not that that is any consolation; you have every right to be angry/disappointed).

Will your placing at the provincial level affect the way you are judged on the national level, or is the slate clean?  (i.e. will national judges be aware of your 4th place finish and will they be inclined to favor those who placed higher?)

It seems to me that the high population and general lifestyle of the province would make British Columbia a very competitive Province for a fitness competition.  Do you think you faced stiffer competition in BC than you would have elsewhere?

Well, depends on what you consder stiff comp.......they top 3 all had fakes, top 2 are non naturals....my routine was strongest, I was lean enough, but I think size maybe the factor and a bigger one at nats.
As far as I am aware, it will be clean slate and I have competed against much stiff comp but the first place was one of the best out there according to her record although some of her wins have been questioned from what I hear, but she has done tons of show over the past years, competing as long as I have but again, she has done a few enhancments that blow me away so......if I were to do these enhancings I would be unstopable but do I want to do that and win that way, I think I rather take 4th.....and work hard to win while still being ME, natural physique both on the chemical and surgical arena.
So if that makes me the underdog my win will be that much sweeter when it comes, and I don't mind working for it for as long as I need, I will only be able to compete yearly at this one.  There comes a time when things all come together for you, so I got my ultimate goal of nats, and being under different rule so 2 out of 3 aint bad......I wanted first and overall.....but whatever, not at the expense of my natural identity.

Yeah, we wouldn’t have you any other way.

Maybe some of us can become judges on the Canadian National circuit; we could make the politics of the system work for you instead of against you.

lets just say I am going to wet my toes, and feel it out.
I will need a year or 2 of some serious constant diet and training to look anywhere near anabolic!
I was speaking with a friend and she was looking over all the placing in all the women in heels categories, many rounds of figure etc and she said most of all top 2 were enhanced.
They look great, I am not complaining although of course it is dissapointing but I knew what I was getting into so I have no right to ****and am not.  They look great and so do I but at different levels thats all.
I am willing to go back to nats as long as needed until the natural look cuts it and I will be waiting.
If I am competing now as a natty beside juicers and placing top 5 then they would have some stiff comp against me as a juicer with implants........the knowlege in that alone is satisfaction!

its funny cuz after the show I figured I will go natty for next year and if I don't place better I may consider some mild drug use but I always feel that way after a loss.......a week or so later I feel still very strong about remaining drug free.....well steriod free......
