Just picked this up today. It seems to be very functional and sturdy for what I paid for it $199.00 at Sports Athority (Regular $249.99). Also picked up a 300lb. Olympic Barbell and Plate Set from Dick's Sporting Goods for $99.00 (Regular $129.99). The only drawback on the XR 37 so far is that it is really really hard to put together. Expect to spend about a day. I feel a pump already just from assembly. Heck, maybe I won't even use the bench for lifting. I'll just keep taking it apart and putting it back together. Now that's what I call a workout.

Wow, I got the same machine. The funny part is that, where I live is an expensive place, everything you buy is twice the money(Boca Raton, FL) but I got the same machine for $129.99 FROM SPORTS AUTHORITY. Plus the Sports Authority 300lbs barbell and plate set for $99.

The Sports Authority site says there's a squat rack included in it -- how does this work exactly? Do you have to detach the bench somehow, to get it out of the way? And also, is it at the correct height for squats, if you've used it?

Also, the site says there are spotter extensions for the bench -- is this true? Kind of hard to tell from the picture...

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it. Smile
