Glutamine Suggestions...
-
Friday, October 27, 2006 11:29 PM
I have been liftin for awhile now and I thought that I had received an efficient amount of glutamine through my ON Whey. However, I repeatedly am getting sore after my workouts. Will Glutamine help my body recover faster? What Glutamine do you suggest to take preferably powder suggestions... Would you recommend Cellmass a creatine based post workout supplement to recover faster? When should you take Glutamine? On off days as well?
Height: 5'7 Weight: 170-174 Bench: 265 max NO Xplode ON Whey Protein Multivitamin Vitamin C Fish Oil Food :) Always finish what you start!!!

I dont think l glutamine is necessary, youll get enough glutamine in a daily intake of food and 2 scoops of whey, they recommend 10 g's for supplement a day and theres 8+ in 2 scoops of ON whey, youll find glutamine in meat, poultry, beans, fish, eggs, and dairy products. if u can, try to get it from real food like everything else. as for recovery id get some flax seed oil works for me and its extremely good for you. and not sure bout cell mass creatine, im just startin some cell tech right now grape flavor and tastes like coolaid yummy! I cant reccommend its progress so far as ive been taking it for 3 days. but it tastes good so does orange my brother has orange.

ummm well didnt someone post earlier saying that glutamiens can be potentially bad for u, because they stockpile i n ur brain or something and can cause dmg to it. but anyways that aside i am on cellmass u would like it because it is, 3 g creatine and 2g glutamines, per scoop, since ive ben taking that and no-xplode like its rare that ill be fatigued during a workout, but recently i have een feeling faitgued, like yesterday man my arms were dead.

i take a scoop of glutamine which is 5 grams into my whey protein shake after i lift and i personally feel no difference when i take it to compared to when i dont take it. i personally think i was ripped off by a guy at gnc that wanted me to buy it but personally, extra glutamine does nothing for me
current stack: Xceed CytoSport Whey Syntha 6 fish oil multi currently: Mario Williams workout

ORIGINAL: Asian Invasion I have been liftin for awhile now and I thought that I had received an efficient amount of glutamine through my ON Whey. Would you recommend Cellmass a creatine based post workout supplement to recover faster? When should you take Glutamine? On off days as well? 1) No 2) Only if its a Flavored BCAA ****tail 3) Its fine but i like: Size-On, Clout, Mono and Re-Satur8 5) If your gonna take it...pre\duriing\post and with breakfast+before bed. IMHO BCAA's would be a better recovery supplement. Sip 15-20g pre\during\post workout(if you want mix it w\ gatorade for some carbs). Check out MRM BCAA+G and ICE. They all have some glutamine in there too.
