Glutamine - Wednesday, July 02, 2003 12:27 AM
Is there any negitive effect from taking glutamine??? It just scares me when i hear the words " growth hormone" . I just bought some and was going to try it but not if there are any bad side effects to it or possiblilty of them. Thanks for any input. Sorry if i sound like a noobie.... just trying to becareful.

Actually, what makes you sound like a newbie is the fact that you asked this question, without reading the 5 page thread that is essentially the magna carta on glutamine. Please read it, then rephrase any lasting questions.

This forum has a GREAT search facility.. typing in glutamine you would have found a really informative " book" on the subject.

Glutamine and Growth Hormone.. apples and oranges.

I don' t think there have been any negative side effects at all. But the question is.. for your money, is glutamine worth it?

None that I' ve ever read or heard of. Yeah.. read that thread.. just mostly a matter of it you think there' s any benefit to spending your money on glutamine and not a better protein.
