Gloves question

I read in arnie's encyclopedia of bodybuilding that it is better to not use gloves when working out. It is better to form calluses on your hands instead and make them tough. Now what do you guys think.

I think gloves are better to use. Big deal about calusses they can be annoying, I think gloves are better to wear instead of bear handed.

I bought a pair of gloves because the calluses on my hands were getting ridiculous and they were all over, making my hands feel rough and nasty. Now, theyre completely gone and the ladies love my smooth skin haha.

i think its all down to personal preference and what you feel comfortable with. i never used to use gloves but tend to a bit more often now. the friction without them when performing curls for example can be painful at times
