Had to get a quick chest workout in because I will have to miss the one during the week due to a game. Chest Flat Bench 135x10 175x10 190x8 205x6 225x4 255x1 (spot for 3 reps after the one I got up) Incline Bench 165x7 175x6 185x5 (slight spot on 5th rep)

Squat 135x8 (warm-up) 250x5 295x5 315x4 335x4 350x2 350x2 370x3 Power Clean 145x6 185x5 210x4 235x4 250x3 275x1 Just found out that the power lifting meet on Sat. is going by body index within each weight class, so that means I don't have to drop a few pounds to get into the 171-180 weight class. Yay! lol.

Power Lifting Comp today weighed in at 177 after not really eating much for the past few days so I could drop into the 171-180 weight class I took 3rd place out of 25-30 lifters. It was the Area 2 GACA weightlifting competition. Cleaned first 1st attempt- 260 lbs 2nd attempt-275 lbs 3rd attempt-290 lbs Then bench 1st attempt- 255 lbs 2nd attempt- 275 lbs (scratch, couldn't lock out) 3nd attempt- 275 lbs (scratch, couldn't lock out) Then Squat 1st attempt- 365 lbs 2nd attempt- 385 lbs 4th attempt- 405 lbs (scratch)

It is a hang clean, but you catch it and squat down in one motion then come back up. So, it is like a hang clean and front squat combined together in one movement pretty much.

Chest/Tri Flat Bench 135x10 165x8 185x7 205x6 210x5 (bit of spot on 5th rep) 225x4 (spot on 4th rep) 225x3 (spot on 3rd rep) burnout with 185 8 reps Incline 140x8 155x6 165x6 Close Grip Burn and turn (25 and 2 10's on each side, burnout then take a plate off each side) 135x15 115x8 95x3 45x13 Box Push ups (push ups on two 18" boxes so you can go deeper than normal) 3xBWx15 I can definately tell I took a week off after powerlifting. I am sore from squats yesterday and my bench numbers were below average today. At least my chest is still the same size. :)
