Hows that thick bar doing?, I'm thinking of making my own out of a 2"- 7' length of scaffold and a few old chrome L-screw dumbbell collars. I'm gonna strip the chrome off then weld them on, 20" in from either side. Maybe   Does your bar rotate? I figure apart from power cleans, it won't really matter. Any thoughts?

I love the bar.  My forearms have been sore from deadlifts.

It doesn't rotate.  I have heard people using scaffolding for bars before.

I think you should do it, your forearms and grip will get better.
