Fractured Clavicle - Thursday, April 13, 2006 7:49 AM
I screwed up.  Yesterday I thought it would be fun to see how much air i could get on my bike ramping into my woods.  The trail going into the woods is like a 3  foot ramp and i decided to gain as much speed as i could and fly into the woulds.
i tryed to pop a wheelie in the air and some how did a flip and the bike wound up above me, and i think i hit a tree.  Then i slamed into the ground with the bike on my shoulder.  Anyway i just ended my baseball season and lifting.  Any tips on makeing it heal as fast as possible?

The only way to make it heal as fast as possible is rest and only rest until fully healed.

Don't worry come back training harder.

im glad you got it looked at.

It isnt one of those situations that can be dealt with by just resting. If your lucky, it might not be anything serious and youll just get a sling for a few weeks.

The fracture will only have to be reduced or pinned if theres angulation or disturbed shoulder function.

If youve seen an orthopod, then its best to go on their advice.
