Football specific supplements - Thursday, July 10, 2008 9:02 AM
I am a senoir in high school. I am 6'5" and 285 pounds. I have been taking a supplement called Kre-Alkalyn for about a month. I have seen some increase in muscle mass, but nothing amazing. My question is what supplements should I take to get maximum muscle mass increase over a 2-month span. I have summer workouts until early september and then season starts at which point I lay off working out super hard every day. If anyone has recomendations, please let me Know.

i take isopure protein, but it tastes like sh**. you can take any other whey protein tho. i just heard isopure was the best their was.
and creatine or a preworkout N0 booster, like cell tech or no xplode. they are a little expensive and i found out that they wont do anything unless you have the protein to work with it, you take it like you should, and you still workout hard.

The reason I ask this is not to get more of an advntage on other High school players. I already know I can beat the crap out of them. The reason I ask is because at my size(and I am that big), I am considered small for college offesive line. I have been going from camp to camp and I am being compared to guys that are 6'8" and 330 pounds. So I am trying to get to a point where I carry that "wow" factor. I am sure, deadly superstar, you what that is all about. I need to be able to impress college coaches from the first look. So what things can I take to reach that point. I have a friend that started taking VPX NO-shotgun and has gained 8 pounds in 3 weeks. Is that a good product? And can I pick up an animal pak at any GNC store or some place like that?

haha it was not the no-shotgun that made him gain 8 pounds. that product is just another preworkout NO sup that will give u more energy. not gain weight

some heavy squats, with LOTS of food.

supps won't get you big, but hard work will.  supps just assist you towards your goals, provided your training/diet are in line with your goals.

whey protein, some creatine, and maybe some bcaa's.. but those aren't exactly necessary IMO b/c there are lots of protein powders out there that already have bcaa's already mixed in with it.

My name is FOX.... and I approve this message.

thats probably the best answer ur gonna get. as for the protein ON 100% whey gold standard tastes the best IMO. multivitamins are good too.
