I am a 17 year old girl to play women's professional football in spring of '06. There's a lot of talk going on about me in the league and now I'm feeling the pressure to bulk up. I have until August tryouts to get in the best shape I can. I play QB and DB and I need to gain strength and speed. The buzz right now is about my skill. But I'm small 5'6" 120 and I need help to be as fast and powerful as possible by August. I have access to my school's weight room-which is pretty nice-and I need help developing a workout best suited for my position. I'm a really thin girl-size 1- and can stand to gain quite a lot of weight as long as I keep by BF% down. My main goals are: 1. To become insanely fast/vertical leap 2. Gain massive upperbody strength 3. Hip explosion Right now my sizes are: chest 33 (mostly muscle) bicep 9 forearm 9 waist 26 thigh 17 I'm also trying to develop a diet best for gaining weight. Here it is important to keep in mind that I have a crazy schedule and cannot stick to an exact food diet. I need something more abstract that I will actually be able to follow. I have 6 months! 1.To become insanely fast/vertical leap -- your coach should take care of that the best way possible 2. Gain massive upperbody strength -- we can help you out with this one 3. Hip explosion -- i have no clue what you mean : ) First off, have you ever had any experince of heavy weight training? is that what your looking for to gain strength? and why only upperbody strength? your playing football, upper is nothing without lowerbody... your gonna need to go for both. You said your schedule is a busy one. How often can you go to your schools gym? give us some of these infos, and we'll make up a routine for you

I posted in a couple different places. I'm looking for varied feedback. 8pack: I don't currently have a coach, so I'm working on my own for speed/leap. Don't worry about hip explosion. It's a big deal for D b/c it's for tackling. I'll work that out with the lifting supervisor. I used to lift for soccer so yes, I've had experience. I said upper body b/c I'm a girl and I played soccer, for both reasons, I've done very little upper body training. I can go to the gym mon-fri b/c I go on my lunch periods. I have about an hour. I really need some help with diet. School is crazy and the food really isn't that healthy, just snack machines, bagles, milk, stuff like that and I'm not in a position to plan and make every meal. I can afford to buy bars and shakes for everyday, but I'm sure that's not entirely healthy. I need some ideas for quick snacks I can make and package at home and eat in class or between classes. Thanks for all your help!

I've always wondered what measures women take to measuring their chest. How do u tell whats muscle and whats not?

i know b/c i used to never work out my chest, so now i basically know what gains i've made -like right now i'm up to 34-.lol i guess it's not that important.
