Work on your football IQ. Know what to look for and how to anticipate routes. Watch the receivers body language.

As for drills, do a lot of quick changes of direction. Back peddle and then turn whatever way your coach points and drills like that.

cool. Well i used to be a sprinter a few years ago, was the fastest in my age group for my city at one point held it for about 2 years aswell. Then...completly tore a ligament in my leg . Any way the point is, i recently regained alot of speed especially sinse lifting, i found when my arms got bigger this helped aswell.

When sprinting really use your arms to pump as hard as you can, my friend (who is naturally a sprinter like my self) only uses his legs, when he runs it looks weird but hes amazingly fast.

Practice makes perfect, get to the track and time how long it takes you to run the 100m in and try beat it every time really push your self 100% every run bout twice a week maybe if your lifting frequently.
