Greetings! My name is Joe Reinard and I am organizing a fitness expo in Indiana Pennsylvania, specifically at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The contest is to benefit epilepsy research, as two students at IUP lost their lives to SUDEP this year. One of which, is my cousin and best friend Clayton Meals, to which the contest is being held in his honor. It is for IUP students, but we are going to open the contest up to the public, so anyone can join in, and I am looking for contestants. Here is a short list of the contests, and trophies will be awarded to all of the winners: Bench Press Contest: Under 200 Pound Class (Three attempt contest) Bench Press Contest: Over 200 Pound Class (Three attempt contest) Guy’s Hottest Body Contest: (A scaled-down version of a Men’s bodybuilding contest) Girl’s Hottest Body Contest: (A scaled-down version of a Female Figure contest) Guy’s battle of the Biceps: (Most curls in 60 seconds with 60 pound ez-curl bar) Girl’s battle of the Biceps: (Most curls in 60 seconds with 60 pound ez-curl bar) Each event costs only $5 to enter and all money will be given to resources for increased awareness and research in Epilepsy. In addition, special gust lecturer Paul “The Exercise Man” Gaudino will be giving a seminar in regards to health/exercise. A martial arts demonstration with trained stick fighters will also add entertainment to your experience. Here is a flier containing more information about the event: http://www.iup.edu/intramurals/bench/flier.doc Here is a website with more information on Clayton Meals: http://www.iup.edu/intramurals/bench/bench.html For questions regarding the events, please contact me at me@joeyreinard.com To register for an event, or ask questions related to directions, please contact Ryan Smith in the IUP intramural department at RMSMITH@iup.edu or 724-357-2757. Thank you for your time and I hope to see you there! Sincerely, Joe Reinard
