Female nutriiton Diet plan - Tuesday, August 30, 2005 9:27 AM ( #1 )
HI,
I'm interested in finding out some type of nutrition plan for woman that are dieting.  Or something similar to that.  I'm a male and I understand the nutrition for males but not for female.  I'm helping my mother lose about 65pds.  She not interested in going to the gymn.  And she can't run fast enough to cause major fat burn because of a leg ingury.  So I'm wondering on the food part what ideas do you have that will help.

Just read to Best of Nutrition and you'll find some nice infos there. Nutrition for women is pretty much the same...I don't see why you'd have to change because of the gender.

HI WIP
IM NOT SURE WHAT YOU HAVE RESEARCHED OUT THERE BUT I WAS A MEMEBER OF WEIGHT WATCHERS. I SAY I WAS BECAUSE I WAS INTRODUCED TO BODY FOR LIFE PROGRAM WHICH I THINK IS GREAT. I AM NOW MIXING WEIGHT WATCHERS AND BFL TOGETHER TO LOSE MY 30LBS. I WILL TELL YOU THAT WEIGHT WATCHERS ALOT OF PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM MIGHT NOT AGREE WITH BUT IT DOES WORK TO LOSE FAT WITHOUT EVEN EXERCISE!!! I LOST 25LBS AND DIDN'T EXERCISE A BIT! I WAS AVERAGEING AROUND 1-2 POUNDS A WEEK. IT MIGHT BE A GOOD THING FOR HER TO START OUT WITH THIS A SEE WHAT HAPPENS IN A MONTH. I STILL WATCH MY POINTS AND EAT 6 TIMES A DAY BUT MY MEALS AND SNACKS ARE ON THE PROTEIN SIDE. IF YOU NEED ANY EXAMPLES OF A DAILY EATING PLAN LET ME KNOW.
GOOD LUCK TO YOUR MOM.

Write down what your eat, ie calories, servings, fat, carbs, fiber, sugar & protein. This will allow you to see where you lack or get too much of. You can also go deeper and include sodium, vitamins, minerals, etc.

If you are not sure what needs to be cut or added, just post your info here and someone might be able to help you with your nutritional optimization.
