Silence-nothing wrong with your question at all.  Scorch by MAN, Basic Cuts by DS are two i can suggest.  Melting Point is also a popular non stim.  You can get more info at designersupps.com.  Let me know whatever questions you might have

I understand that the ephedrine and caffeine are stimulants, but why the Aspirin?  Anyone have any idea?

aspirin is a blood thinner, with your heart beating 196,000,000 beats per second, you don't want it to get clogged up.

Personally, I'm not taking the aspirin. From what I've read it has little effect.

Apparantly my sarcasm wasn't picked up on in reference to me being stupid for asking a question.  Njmuscle, thanks man you are obviously a nice guy.

I've read great things about the DS products and I know you are a rep for them (right?)  I read misanthropy's journal for melting point, and it has me interested.  Here's the thing(which is why I wrote this post to begin with.

Everyone knows the the old ECA stack, though potentially dangerous for people with prior heart problems(who shouldn't be taking it anyway), works.  With the ban on ephedrine, the no ephidrine products started coming out.  But everyone I know that's taken them says they are not even close to the same as when they had ephedrine in them.  I know most of them are BS, I just wanted to know if anyone has had any seriously phenomenal results with anything on the market today?

By the way,  I did some research on the ECA stack because I was curious and I found this,

"
The effects of the ECA stack in weight loss are primarily due to the ephedrine component. Ephedrine acts both as a beta agonist and stimulates the release of noradrenaline. Increased circulating noradrenaline in the body then acts on white adipose tissue by increasing cAMP levels. This causes a thermogenic effect, raising body temperature by about 2 degrees (•c or •f?) and increasing the user's metabolism by 10% in conjunction with the rest of the stack.[citation needed]
However, the body's Negative feedback system then activates to normalize the metabolism. This is done via the production of phosphodiesterase inside the cells, and prostaglandins outside the cell, which both lower cAMP levels within the cell.
Caffeine inhibits the production of phosphodiesterase inside the cell and therefore slows the cAMP breakdown. It also, by binding with and competitively inhibiting adenosine receptors in the brain, triggers the release of adrenaline which increases cAMP levels further.
Aspirin inhibits prostaglandin production outside of the cells, which, in conjunction with caffeine, greatly prolongs the thermogenic effects and increased metabolism by substaining elevated cAMP levels.
Ephedrine also has an anorectic, or appetite suppressant effect. The mechanisms behind this are not fully understood, but this aids in weight loss as well. However, these effects only last for about two weeks if the stack is not cycled as the body becomes tolerant to ephedrine to some degree. It is estimated that 60% – 75% of the weight loss from using the ECA stack comes from the anorectic effect, and the remainder from thermogenesis.[citation needed]
The final component in weight loss of the ECA stack is that of a simple stimulant; the higher adrenaline and noradrenaline levels result in increased aerobic exercise performance and less fatigue.

RE: Fat burners - Friday, January 26, 2007 9:04 PM
I have tried almost everything..

The best luck I had was LIPO 6... maybe 11 pounds in 2 bottles, but I never took it religously..  My diet wasn't in as check as it has been for the last 2 months either..  So, could have it all worked a little better, yes, but it didn't perfomr miracles.

Half the people that take thermos think it is going to change their life w/out having to work at it.  I have been dealing with weight issues my whole.  I luckily inherited a great gut/love handle gene and my parents did not know about nutrition when I was young..  Then that whole dorm room food + beer college thing happened..

I am ultimately convince now that my diet is in check anything will work, but I am giving DS a try in probably two weeks..  I am going to take their weight loss stack..
Melting Point, Lean EXtreme, Basic Cuts..  Follow it religously and see if I can get shredded..

A slow and well thought out 10 week cut would be extremely beneficial using these supplements, but it just depends what you have the time for.  If a 6 week cutter is more feasible (time, lifestyle, and economics), then go that route.

HotRox is supposedly non ephedrine.  I tried for awhile but they upset my stomach.  I quit taking them.  I do beleive they were working.

I like to eat a good casein protein before bed,it will last all night and you will be so hungry the next morning you won't beleive it.I also second water, but carb cycling is key for me,and I like our StimX,it is smooth with no jitters, and lasts for a good 6 hours, but keep your carbs down, and try what works for you in your own mind.
