Exercise and Supplement Research

Hi all, In a few days I am hoping to post a link to a research study I'm working and I wanted to introduce myself first. I've been working with a research team at Touro University for the past year and we're conducting a survey to learn more about people's exercise habits, supplement and medication use. The research should debunk some popular exercise and performance enhancement myths -- and hopefully teach us a lot about current fitness and supplement-use trends. I know I'm new to the board, but we've had a good reception most places after we've chatted with board members for a bit, so feel free to ask any questions you may have and I can also post some links to the threads we have going on other sites if anyone is interested. Thanks! -Mike

Yeah, it will just be an open survey. I'll make sure there are no objections to me posting the link, then I'll post it up. Thanks for the response! -Mike

Very interested here, keep me in the loop. I've done some research for the guys over at www.priceplow.com - they post tons of research studies for each product category and then compare supplement prices across many stores. Protein is sorted by grams per dollar, which is the best way to sort when looking for a deal. The thing they're looking for in a study is: - Double blinded - Placebo-based - On humans, not animals - Look for side effects and consider long-term implications You can't always do that, but those are the preferred types of studies.
