IF you're drug-tested (either for a sport you compete in or at work) be careful taking anything containing geranamine! (Meaning, DON'T.) If you're not drug-tested for any reason, then no big deal, enjoy, but if you are you'll likely be screwed.
A couple of sprinters on the Jamaican national team (Usain Bolt's team) got nabbed for taking a crappy formulation by a company that either didn't know their ass from their elbow or else were just blatant scoundrels, because their website and product sales literature all claimed that the product was in compliance with World Anti-Doping Agency rules . . . yet it contained geranium extract (geranamine, essentially), which anyone worth his salt knows is essentially amphetamine, and shows up on a drug test as amphetamine.
BTW, they've (Muscle speed) since taken all claims of the product being in compliance with WADA and NCAA drug-testing rules off their website. How convenient! (Lawyers being sicked on your ass can do that to you.)
So what happened? 3 months suspension for the sprinters in question and the poor ****ers missed the World Championships in Berlin. Take a look:
http://thestar.com.my/sports/story.asp?file=/2009/9/26/sports/4787090 http://www.trackalerts.com/?p=3646 It's even more of a shame because Patrick Arnold, the guy who essentially brought geranamine to the market in the first place, has openly stated and written that, although it's a great energizer, you should NOT take geranamine if you're drug-tested because you WILL test positive.
Just FYI. If you're not drug-tested, no biggie.
