Endurance stats - Wednesday, August 31, 2005 6:29 AM
I decided to yesterday give a little break from bulking that one time and focus on endurance, the exercises i was doing were leg press, bench and preacher curls. (3 favourite exercises apart from deadlift)

My endurance stats were

90lbs bench-36 reps
50lbs preacher curls-27 reps
200lbs legpress-14 reps

Im 5'11
150lbs and 18 years of age

Id just like to see what other peoples endurances are

if you could use the same weight i did so i can see where i am on the endurance scale

or use your own weight and il use the usual bodyweight/weights equation to figure out how good my endurance is

My training weights on them exercises are in general 110lbs on bench
60-70lbs on preacher curls
and 240lbs on legpress

I think you might beat me on arms and chest, but my legs i know i can do much more! I can't check as its a week off right now, but for legs i could probably do about 25-30 at that weight

I am unsure of my weight, around 165lbs and 5'9" and 20 in October

Yeah my legs arent that good, only started training them nearly 2 months ago, im training way past my old legpress max so im happy with that though lol

But after im done bulking (once i reach my goal of around 200lbs in muscle) im gonna focus more on endurance and strength, and will hopefully get my endurance to seriously good levels

man WE have the same goals!

200 lbs muscle and then train endurance, we are like brothers for 2 different countries... except me being 5'9" i'll look bigger LOL! Ya I didn't work on legs for a long time, My leg press yorking weight was 360 before I did a major cut, lost 30 lbs, not all fat :( so now all my working weights dropped drastically, BUT, I look much nicer, and the muscle is building back rapidly

cool, good thing about that is if one of us finds something that works good we can give each other info

360lbs starting legpress is damn impressive
Yesterday while at the gym the friend i go with beat his personal best and legpressed 200KG which is 440lbs but he's a very big guy....
I started training on 80lbs which was dead easy, i think it was you actually who told me to bump up the weight, i trained 160lbs after that and now im training on 240lbs, though i am noticing my legs are slowing down with gains.

That is why id hate to cut-lose strength

im thankful for my metabolism lol
so youre bulking now then i presume from the muscle building back rapidly part?

yeah, I am bulking, Leg press goes up rapidly for me too, squats not so good, but they are going up... I am hoping to squat 200 for next summer, so it'll probably be a nice 450 lb legpress or something... legs seems to grow quick

Hmm actually ive been a bit dumb...arent you a part of the bulking contest right now?
squats i gained quite a bit...before i realised i was doing them wrong and cant really do them properly due to my crappy legs, so im temporarily giving up squats until i perfect my form as i dont want to injure myself.

squats do go up slow though, you can tell legpress is a poor imitation of the squat as legpress you gain so much quicker and easier, squats require much more work to do.

i hope i get to a 450lbs legpress one day...
legs do grow quick...big muscles...

No, i wasn't allowed in the bulking contest , too old rememeber!

my squats were at 130 b4 cut, now 105lbs... But I think they are going up 5 lbs every 2 weeks or so

I am scared for my back for squats, i am going to try sith machine squats for 5 weeks and see if i can get my free weight squats to imitate that without losing balance

speaking of squats at the begining may 2005 it was hard for me to do 70lbs 10 tens lol first time ever squatting
now i am up to 190 ten times, for me squats are very mental, i just hadt to realize i could push myself(and keep proper form)
if you're cup's already full then its bound to overflow
