Endothil-CR - Thursday, August 04, 2005 6:42 PM ( #1 )
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and need some advice.  So I got a magaizine the other day from GNC (Fitness Magazine) and read a huge marketing hype on Endothil and wanted to hear from those who may have tried this supplement.  I went to GNC and purchased it since it had a 30-day no-questions-asked money back guarantee.  I am on day 4 and want to know what kind, if any, gains I may see.  The ingredients are sketchy and it makes me wonder if this product works since this company has put so much money into making it look awesome.  If anyone has any comments with this please let me know.

I am on day 20 on this stuff and it seems to be working.  my routine is a 5 day split.  The only other supplement I take is a protein powder.  I wanted to get as true a test as i could and i have gained 3/4 of an inch in my arms, and i'm getting stronger on all lifts every week. i am probably gonna try the nox-cg3 next and if i like it i may try both at the same time. if together it's not much better than alone i'll go with whichever was best. my only complaint with it is the bad taste, but anyone who can choke down a protein bar should be able to handle it.

RE: Endothil-CR - Monday, January 30, 2006 10:37 AM ( #8 )
Endothil-CR:

Made by Klein-Becker which can be found in a bogus claims article on the FTC at:

http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2004/06/dietsupp.htm

These guys have made several products that look like true perscription type drugs with a lot of hype and marketing.  I've only taken one of their products.  Did absolutely nothing for me except to make me poor.

Moving on...

StriVectin (from strivectin.com):

Dr. Daniel B. Mowrey, PhD, Klein-Becker’s Director of Scientific Affairs, says, “Clearly, people were seeing results, but we didn’t have a scientific explanation as to why this wrinkle-reduction was occurring. However, based on the incredibly positive reports, I started using it myself — applying StriVectin to my face after shaving.” Dr. Mowrey adds, “On a personal note, my wife tells me I haven’t looked this good in years.”

Dumb Luck Strikes Again!

Then, on Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at a meeting of the 20th World Congress of Dermatology in Paris, France, a series of studies detailing the superior wrinkle-reducing properties of a patented oligo-peptide (called Pal-KTTKS) versus retinol, vitamin C, and placebo, on “photo-aged skin” was presented.1,2 “As luck would have it,” Dr. Mowrey states, “the anti-wrinkle oligo-peptide tested in the breakthrough clinical trials turned out to be a key ingredient in the StriVectin cream.”

****

Endothil-CR (from endothil.com):

Dr. Daniel B. Mowrey, Ph.D., Novex Biotech’s Director of Scientific Affairs, says, “Clearly, people were seeing results, but we didn’t have a scientific explanation as to why this muscle mass and strength impact was occurring. However, based on the incredibly positive reports, it is impossible to just ignore the effectiveness of Endothil-CR.”

Dumb Luck Strikes Again!

Then, in 2003, the results of an independent study of 31 fit males was released. During a double-blind, six-week body-building study, the active compound in Endothil-CR increased upper body strength by 100% and lower body strength by 249% after concentrated exercise (as measured by the amount of weight participants could bench press and leg press). And biceps circumference increased dramatically over placebo – more than a four-fold increase in circumference versus almost no increase with the placebo group (who were on the same body-building program).

****

Ever notice how he seems to be in the right place at the right time, on several occassions and says the same things?

My Personal Recommendation:

Keep away from this company's products.  It's hype.  It's got no proof behind it.  It's listed on the FTC.  And from the other boards I do visit, it's not a well liked, reputable company.

Hey im finally about to try this product. Im taking it with 250 protein, 10g creatine, and  10 g glutamine a day.  I dont know how much this product will benefit me. But I can try and save you guys some money. I was able to purchase a 30 package of endothil-cr for 30$ off ebay like 35 or 36$ with shipping and handling. Ill write back in 3 weeks if I see any results.

I see a lot of people going out and buying products left and right with very little substancial evidence to even prove it does anything.  31 test subjects isn't sufficient evidence that it proves anything.  You could have a majority of test subjects with very little results with one outlayer that throws the whole test off.  Meanwhile, a majority of products that are out there aren't even approved by the FDA, granted, that doesn't say much but it should throw up a flag before you go out and buy just any given product that promises you'll get stronger or bigger by tomorrow afternoon and start popping pills.  Nobody knows the long term effects of these drugs, not even the company producing them.  So not only does that company show its products results are statistically insignificant, but they don't even know the long term effects.  Now, I say this because a lot of companies out there do this, but that doesn't make their products bad, and lots of products do actually show results.  However, before you go out and buy these suppliments maybe you should hold off and see what other people are saying about them and the actual results they find for themselves.   In the mean time make muscle the old fashion way... protein, complex carbohydrates, a **** ton of water, and 8 hours of sleep/night.

Just remember, before 1904 cocaine was used for a headache remedy and used widely... until it was studied and made illegal.  I'm willing to bet you can think of a few others in bodybuilding that became illegal in the last 100 years.

It's NOT made by Klein-Becker.  It's made by a subsidiary of Endovasc (www.endovasc.com), a real pharmaceutical company near Houston with actual drugs that are going through clinical trials for product development with the FDA in the area of vascular disease.  Novex Biotech is listed on the box as the company that markets it.  But if you go to Endovasc's website you'll see it listed as their neutraceutical product.

I've used Endothil for three months with great results and no side effects.  My strength has increased over 25% and my mass has also increased significantly.  I will be competing in July and believe it will give me a tremendous edge over the competition.

Neutracuetical products cannot be submitted to the FDA for approval.  This product has worked extremely well for me; see my post below.  Sometimes it is a gamble to try a product, but it's also a mistake to write it off before you see for yourself whether it works.  If you work out hard, rest and eat right, this product will increase both your strength and size better than any product on the market.

Day 27 on Endothil-CR - Sunday, March 19, 2006 12:33 PM ( #16 )
I'm On Day 27 of Endothil. It's all luck whether a supplement will work or not depending on your body type and genetic build. While I have gained a little muscle mass in these past 27 days, I have not gained as much as I was expecting. So I'm a little dissapointed. And then I'm not sure whether to contribute the minor gains in muscle mass to the Endothil or the pain in the ass workout routine needed for it to allegedly take effect. 5 days a week working on a particular muscle group each day to exhaustion. The workout is absolute hell. It's a lot of darn work, although 10 minutes later I'm fully recuperated. It's a short routine, but a hard one as you got to work the muscle to exhaustion. You need a buddy just to help you to complete those lasts reps. I'm going to quit after the month is up. Will report all weight gains and muscle gains after the 30 days are up. Then workout without the Endothil for another month. Then go one more month on the Endothil and see if there's a difference. They are all sold out at GNC so lots of people are buying this stuff. I got the last two boxes at $40 per box. I don''t mind the taste at all, so don't why people complaining about that. It tastes like Spaghetti Bolognese in tablet form to me. No side effects except for urine coming out neon yellow sometimes and thick as a Burker King milkshake. Its says to expect that on the box though.

RE: Endothil-CR - Sunday, April 16, 2006 11:37 AM ( #19 )
i've been using endothil for about two weeks now and i have nothing but good things to say about this product.  i've looked at the other responses on this formu and have noticed a mixture of good and bad reviews and understand that this is expected.  but i believe that if this supplement is used correctly and you do the right workout that they recommend in order to cause muscle exhaustion you will definitely see results.  i use for every workout and i've noticed that my workouts are way more intense, my recoveries are quick as hell, and i've seen gains like within weeks.  i'm taking no2, thermo-gain and i take about 3 servings of nitro-tech a day along with my endothil 15-30 minutes prior to my workout and i blame my endothil completely for the intensity.  i've been tempted for a while now to just take endothil and protien before a workout just to test my theory.  like i said, there will always be good and bad reviews from customers but this is definitely a good one and in about a week i'm going back out to order another month supply.  the only side-effects that i've noticed is that sometimes i'm not as horny as i usually am, but that could just be a personal problem.  oh does anyone know if you should cycle on and off of endothil??

its been 3 months now since the last post, that 6 wks times two so there shoud be fantastic results by now.  hows it going.  some say crap some say fantastic  i have not tried it yet by here is a post i just posted elswhere, same subject.

claim: six-week body-building study, the active compound in Endothil-CR increased upper body strength by 100% and lower body strength by 249%

my thoughts:  currently i can press my weight of 185lb, so in 6 weeks i will be able to press 370lbs

on 45 degree leg press machine i do 550lb so in 6 weeks i can do 1,870lb

does not take a very smart guy to figure out crap is crap

maybe 100% more than normal, like a gain of 20lbs on ur bench instead of 10lbs without using it. a 50lb gain in lower body strength seems right if u'd usually increase 20lbs in the same period without the product.

I took Endothil-CR for about 2 months and I think that the stuff actually made me feel much weaker when I worked out. My bench press went down about 10% and I was constantly sore all the time. It may have made my muscles look a little better but it did not increase my strength at all. I would say that Endothil-CR is mostly hype it made me feel very sore and weak when I worked out and did not make me any stronger. I have been off Endothil-CR for about a month now and I feel much better and stonger than when I was on it.

ENDOTHIL makes me laugh in hysteria!!!!! THe thought that green tomato extract, grape seed and some bioflavonoids could actually increase strength by up to 100% just boggles my mind......in no way shape or form is the ridiculous concoction going to make you any stronger...u may as well be taking a sugar pill..aka placebo...all of these ingredients are ANTIOXIDANTS...they fight free radicals ....the only thing they MAY do is help recovery time in the slightest bit but as far as muscular gains...NO CHANCE...supplements as bogus as this infuriate me. Sorry to those i may have offended...and im even more sorry to those who have wasted there hard earned cash on this.
