Elite Juicers Whey
-
Friday, February 09, 2007 9:38 AM
i accidently ordered banana flavor ( i hate banana flavoring anything but love bananas) so i was kind of annoyed when i noticed. sure enough i tried it with 1% milk and it was freakkking delicious! and im EXTREMELY lactose intolerant and does not effect me AT ALL ... cytogainer and ON Whey do a little bit. Any other delicious Elite Juciers Flavors?

Have you tried Muscle Milk? i have the banana flavor of muscle milk and pina colada, do you know of elite protien tastes the same as muscle milk or better? Ive been lookin for a good tasting whey protien, but even NECTAR brand protien doesnt taste that great. I will give this a try

Not a huge fan of either the Pina Colada or Orange Dreamsicle and I haven't tried the Green Apple flavor but I definitely liked the Chocolate Mint, and Berry Blast is pretty good too. Give em a shot.

Orange Dreamsicle was good for the first 5lbs. Don't buy it bulk tho because it isn't as good on your 12th pound.

If by "good" as Muscle Milk you mean sweet, you won't find any whey protein isolate or blend as "good" as Muscle Milk because you won't find any with 6g of sugar/serving. MRPs are going to taste different than whey proteins are going to taste different than sustained release casein proteins. In terms of comparing Elite's taste to other whey blends, I would say it ranks pretty high. If that doesn't turn your crank, I can almost bet Champion Nutrition's Pure Whey will. I haven't met anyone who has tried their variety and wasn't pleased with the taste. It's quality protein and mixes well to boot.

Great, i emailed the company that makes Elite Protien to get some free samples, hopefully they will email me back soon. BTw, is that really a picture of you in your avator johnny? Have you guys tried NECTAR protien by syntrax? I tried the fuzzy navel , and it tasted great in the begining but after a while i just got totally sick of it. I hope that wont be the case for Elite,...

umm johnny was trying to say that elite and muscle milk cant be compared because they are two differnt things. ones stricly whey protein and the other is a meal replacement. i have Muscle Milk, Cytogainer, and Elite juicer.... they all serve their purpose and are all delicious in comparison to other brands. is champion nutrition tasting better these days? used to taste pretty nasty a few years ago...

Elite Whey
-
Monday, February 12, 2007 9:05 AM
i emailed the company and the response i got back was "we dont have any more samples. sorry" yah right those cheap asses. Well how does Elite Whey compare to NECTAR protien by syntrax. They are both whey protien. I tried the fuzzy navel flavor of nectar, and it almost tastes like fruit juice, but i got sick of it really fast. Does Elite Whey kind of taste like a milk shake? For example, does the banana one taste like banana milk shake or banana split icecream? I went to my local vitamin shoppe, and they said they would not be able to refund me accept get store credit or exchange it for something else. I dont want to purchase another protien and be dissapointed again. I have to make sure that Elite Whey really stands out in terms of flavor. That means whenever i wake up, i will look forward to drinking it every day, and not cringe by saying to myself "ugh now i gotta chug down this crap i bought"

GF pro VS Elite
-
Monday, February 12, 2007 9:49 AM
OK 1 more question, besides Elite Whey being compared to Nectar, how does it compare to GF Pro by ErgoPharm? Ive read that GF Pro is expensive but its worth the extra money because they consider it one of the best tasting protiens out there. I am very picky about taste, and if thats the case i am willing to spend extra money on GF Pro Also i called my local vitamin shoppe and nutrtion discount store, and non of them carry GF Pro which pisses the hell out of me, can you recommend any websites which have fast delivery service with cheap prices? They do carry Elite Whey, but GF pro sounds better...

if you care that much about taste....then you may have picked the wrong sport Well, there are tons of protien out there. All the companies who make the protiens want the money from my wallet. Before they do, they better meet my expectations. Why shouldnt taste matter? Whey protien taste today is not the same as 10 years ago.

I understand that, but I think you should care more about the quality of the ingredients and how good the product is for you....taste should be far down the list.

Well have you tried Elite Whey? if so what flavor? and what is your opinion on it. I would like to hear from a lot of people. It will help me a lot : -)
