I did a slight search feature on ephedrine and I didn't really find what I was looking for. I did find where to find it though. A question that was brought up in a thread but never answered: what is the point of the aspirin? I can take caffeine pretty well, but I don't know how potent ephedrine is.

Aspirin is a blood thinner and a neuro-inhibitor.

aspirin is supposed to help prolong the effects of the ephedrine and caffeine its not really necessary though

^^ that. Not worth the effects on the stomach though IMO. They also discovered that prolonged use of aspirin (like how they used to tell people to take aspirin everyday to prevent stroke) causes your body to thicken your blood. Not good...

I believe it's to keep BP from getting too high as a lot of people's get way over the normal range. I tried EC stack without A and just consumed a lot of fish oil. BP was fine never over 120/80. Dont take aspirin if you do it. http://www.hotnfit.com/ecstack.htm#8mg

start off slow and assess your tolerance to the ephedrine. i wouldn't go over 100mg ephedrine in a day

I have a pacemaker though. I don't know if ephedrine is a good idea, but I really need a boost before these intense workouts and HIIT sessions. My doctor already said hell no to yohimbine and guarana or whatever. I will drop the aspirin from the stack. I tolerate caffeine well. I can drink a lot of coffee and soar through the day.

It's a terrible idea... if you have a pace maker... just don't do it. Ephedrine is one of those things that even at the "proper" dosage, there is a very small chance you'll just drop dead... at higher doses yikes... with a pacemaker, it's not worth the risk. Yeah, your Doc will probably b!tch slap you, if you ask him/her.

I obtain my ephedrine from an asthma medication, which im sure is bought buy thousands for the actual use of controlling their asthma. If ephedrine could just kill you, the company would become bankrupt, it'd be all over the news and in the papers from thousands of families suing the company for killing their loved ones.

When they took it off the market as a spots sup, wasn't it because there were several instances of football players (hs, college), who took it, it just reacted bad, and they had heart attacks... It wasn't many, but a few.. and then there were the other deaths, that weer do to abuse? Am I thinking of the wrong thing? The does is the same for the ashma verses weight control, performance enhancer? Do you think it's ok for Perry to take it with a pacemaker?

I mean yeah there has been a few death's linked to taking ephedra which was banned completely, but ephedrine hcl is still on the market. But imo as long as you dont abuse it i dont see any problem with it other than it can be addictive. Kind of like alcohol in a way. The right dose works wonders and and overload can be iffy ha For an ec stack, the dosage is about 20mg/200mg where as in the asthma medication it has 12.5mg per dose. For perry's situation, personally i would just ask my doctor about it before jumping in. If he's that borderline, i would just say strong diet and cardio is his safest option though

I wouldnt even fxck with it if I had a pacemaker. It gives you energy but then you crash and drag around, not like caffeine where you dont have a real noticeable comedown. Just dont take it.

Would pseudoephedrine HCL work the same? I heard it does, not sure though. Its a lot easier to get, but you would obvioulsy need to take more than normal ephedra tabs.

i mean it works kind of in the same aspects just to a much lesser degree. i would still try and get the straight up ephedrine. now if you have congestion problems pseudoephedrine is perfect for you ha

The football players died from heat stroke and exhaustion and dehydration. Ephedra is a commonly used product as a decongestant. Problem with supplements usually comes from not following directions. Gee, it says 25 mg, so if I take 50 mg it will work twice as fast.............ummmmm no it does not. Use your brain when you train or all your work will be in vain.

If he said hell no to guarana, I wouldn't mess with ephedrine. What kind of arrhythmia do you have? Do you have restrictions on intensity of exercise you can do? Sorry, I am just curious to know if you don't mind me asking.

I don't have any restricitions other than contact sports. The bottom and top chambers weren't working together, which caused an odd problem at a sports physical one year. A few months later, I was under the knife.

Mavric850 But imo as long as you dont abuse it i dont see any problem No offense, I'm not judging you in any way. But, do you have asthma? Because using asthma medication for the purpose of an ECA stack seems to be abusing it in my mind.

Doesn't pseudoephedrine make you drowsy too, or is that something else they add into Sudafed? Would be a pain to be drowsy and lifting weights.

You don't want to take pseudoephedrine before a workout. Lol. I work at a pharmacy, but I will avoid the ephedrine until I ask my doc, even though he will say no.
