I' m thinking or purchasing a set of adjustable dumbells (Powerblocks, Ironmaster) Can anyone tell me if they have had any experience with either? Did you like them? Which ones were the best? By the way, I had a bowflex, I' m looking for something different.

I researched the Powerblocks a while back. They looked to be much better then Ironmaster. I' ve had no practical experience but the Powerblocks did go really high up in adjustable weight, and I have done the old.. switch the weights kind.... and that got old. So for a home gym.. they seemed durable, and damn convenient. Plus you could get the weight high enough that it was serious. Not any real world experience but the old school dumbbells were a major pain to keep switching around. And I had a Soloflex a long time ago with good experiences for a beginner. So anything that keeps things clean and gets the job done in the limited space you might have is probably worth a shot. Check eBay and see if there are any used sets for cheaper.
