Are these things worth buying??? How do you install it, im wondering because my house isnt in the best shape and i dont know if i want to be hanging from my crappy doorframe to have it fall and the bar lands on my face

hi johnny i bought a chin bar works great you just screw two plastic lugs into the frame then put the bar on one lug then unwind the bar till it fits tight hasn't fallen on my face yet (touch wood) got mine from here.

It should be just fine (so long as you get the screws into solid wood). Of course I hung mine from the rafters of my garage with rope. More room in there...

I dont like those, you cant put your head above the bar! I went to home depot and bought a metal pipe looking thing, bought a 4 feet chain(not sure if it was 4) and bought the screw hooks. I screwed it on my ceiling, my ceiling is really strong, it took me sometime to make the hole. Its really good, it looks really good too.

And i put the foamish thing on the metal so its soft.

I have this rock climbing pull up. It has a bunch of tiny slits for close or far finger grip or use your hole hand. It is really good for a thing I picked up at a garage sale for $10
