We have all seen a lot of topics about AS & PH... but one thing that has not been discussed in depth is the fact that neither should be used until you have set a firm and solid foundation the natural way! When I say natural, I mean only protein drinks, vitamin B-12, Iron, Amino Acids and maybe one "reliable" NON -AS/PH supplement of your choice. Lots of hard work in the weight-room, good diet [for gaining or losing weight] and rest / sleep. Only with adequate sleep will your body grow. It's not just how much you can lift or how many times.... but how many hours your sleeping and especially the amount of sleep you get before midnight! Some people respond well to 6 hours sleep... others require 10 hours. It's safe to say that 8 hours of sleep along with everything else will help your body start responding to your expectations. You should only add additional items (AS or PH) when your body reaches a plateau. The plateau being the point where no matter how hard you train or change routines... nothing is helping. Eventually, at some point in your life, you will reach a peak... a plateau that cannot be breached or overcome (Naturally)! This is genetics and at this point there is only one way to "break on thru to the other side" ... AS or maybe PH. Thumbnail Image
