Discuss your thoughts about CLA in this post. Have you tried CLA? Did it work for you? Any side-effects? Please share your expeirences so the rest of us can learn from them.

I' ve been using it for 2 months now. No side effects. I' ve noticed a little bit of fat loss around the abdominal area and in my face.

This isn' t a new supplement by any means but it sure does seem to be working out just fine.

I' d recommend it.

I' ve been taking it for 2 solid months now. Daily. 3.4g per day. In the last 2 weeks, I' ve been on a bulking diet (or my version of one anyway) and eating a lot more food.

Today I got my fat measured. Digital hand-held device and a 4 point caliper test.

The digital meter read my bodyfat as 16%. The 4-point caliper test showed 17.4%. Smile

While I cannot say that CLA helped me lose any weight, I think it did make some visual changes around the midsection and it might have kept my fat content at bay while I was bulking up.

My personal recommendation (and I' m not a doctor) is to supplement your diet with CLA, improve your nutrition, and add in some cardio. It is a supplement. Not a miracle pill. I believe it has enhanced my diet but my nutrition will determine my fat levels as well as my cardio activities. Which at this point (or the last 2 months have been absolutely zero).

Use CLA as dietary supplement. Monitor your diet and throw in cardio and I think you will have a great system of weight loss that is healthy, safe and effective over time.

I' ve always seemed to lean out faster when I incorporate CLA into dieting..

It works while bulking to keep fat increase at bay. But you need high dosages (10-15 g CLA, Tonalin brand) for longer periods to really notice the difference.

This is what I have read as well. There is little evidence suggesting that CLA will help with body recomposition. Rather than spend your time and money here, I would make sure that training and diet is in order, and recommend checking out various other supplements that are shown, scientifically or with overwhelming anecdotal evidence such as:

fish oil
flax oil
vinegar
7-keto DHEA
Ephedrine
Yohimbine
guggle sterones
synephrine
caffiene
nicotene
etc
