Yeah, you need a day off, at least 1 day a week. Your muscles actually grow when they are resting, not when you're lifting. Also, dont do the same thing everyday, I wouldnt work the same muscles more than 2 times a week (I used to work my muscles twice a week because I thought it would help me get bigger faster, but a few months ago started working each muscle only once a week and have been getting better results as I can focus on each muscle a little more each day). My advice would be to check out some other peoples workouts on this site, learn all the different muscles you should be working (Chest, Shoulders, Back, Biceps, Triceps, Abs, and Legs) and learn about 3-4 exercises for each muscle, and focus on 1-2 muscle groups a day. This is what my workout looks like Monday: Chest Tuesday: Back Wednesday: Legs & Abs Thursday: Shoulders Friday: Biceps & Triceps Saturday: Abs Sunday: Off
