So this would be a main forum with some sub-forums dedicated to other aspects of health.. love, mental health, physcial health.. and such?

Most, if not all, older men will have an enlarged prostate and associated symptoms. Leela, hope you father is doing well. Best Wishes.

Let's keep this in mind guys... and it shows in a post that I had to remove in the Injuries and Prevention.. DB is about bodybuilding. When you step into health, inuries, advice.. you are gonna piss people off. Bodybuilding isn't the emotion really. It's opinons and some science and pretty much common blueprints to success. When you go into mental health, advice areas, family problems.. sex.. you open up a world of hurt if it gets out of control. While our community has been very active lately and we pretty much all get along, it only takes 1 person (troll) to start a fire and everybody goes ballistic. Can you imagine a sex forum? All the teens would be there. Unless I up and sell porn and graphic pictures, it's a damn waste of bandwidth with little to no return. DB is a community forum. DB also much have some potential for revenue to reduce the cost of running this place. With that in mind: What could be a good parent forum name? And what would the sub-forums look like?

I dunno man, I know this is a site only about bodybuilding but do you ever check out your bodybuilding forum opponents? they all have from the music forum, fighting forum to the girl talk forum. even have tips on pimpin' forum, pics of hot girls forum. but then again those sites dont have the quality this site has.

But then again, with forums dedicated to sex & love, mind etc, we run the risk of overshadowing the main reason for this board and losing focus of the main topic of the board- bodybuilding. Like Marc said, all the teenagers will start flooding the sex forum which, inevitably, detract attention away from bodybuilding. Not to mention, diminish the credibility of this site if those forums get out of hand. Many people come to DB.com for its pure content (relatively), great advice and friendly environment. It would be a shame if we start to lose people's interest due to the site becoming less bodybuilding-orientated. There are plenty of other forums (and websites) out there dedicating forums to those kinda topics so theres no shortage of 'info'. Maybe it might be best to keep this place focussed on bodybuilding with Out of Bounds serving as the place for all Misc. posts. It might make sense to create Sub-forums in Out of bounds instead of making a New forum.

Despite all thats been said, i think its good to have an avenue to challenge the mind. And Ros, youre right in saying that there is a mental component to lifting weights but i cant really imagine a whole forum/sub-forum dedicated to motivational strategies. My final verdict: A sub-forum in OOB dedicated to the "affairs of the mind"
