Diet in College - Saturday, September 05, 2009 1:21 PM ( #1 )
Hey guys I' m a freshmen this year in college and its amazing and really fun but... its really hard to bulk like I used to. The dining hall is only open certain hours and its a far walk. Plus you add in my classes and all the variables and it makes it hard to eat as many calories as I need.

Anyone in college have any tips on how to bulk succesfully? In my room I have peanuts, easy mac, bcaas, pretzels, protein, pizza and stuff I try to eat constantly to get extra calories but any help or ideas on what I should bu would be great.

well im doing a keto bulk while at school right now so i keep things like almonds, tons of tuna and mayo, PB, olive oil, and meat and cheese in my room.

and dont use the old i have to eat pizza to get enough calories in excuse. put olive oil in your shakes, eat peanut butter by the spoonful.

in all honesty i eat most of my meals in my room and when i go to the cafeteria i just eat a ton of veggies with olive oil and cheese.

yeah i just make big ass salads with olive oil as dressing for a good portion of my meals.  Find out all the different places locations to eat other than the dinning halls.  and if you have back to back classes just bring food with you to snack on. microwaving eggs is a good way to get protein when nothing is open or close

anything with the prefix "ez, or easy" is not food and should be avoided like the plague...

Thanks for the tips guys. I figured I'd do a dirty bulk for once since it's easier and its really hard for me to store fat.

I forgot about olive oil and peanut butter since I've been so busy with all this work I've hardly been eating plus alcohol prob a big factor too and thats prob why I lost a few pounds. anyways thanks again guys

I used to do this but man, after the first spoon my mouth got so dry it was hard to swallow any more.

Try blending it with some water and protein powder, works a treat :-)

Well your dinning hall should be open at least 3 times a day so that is your three big meals. Keep some other stuff in your dorm or whatever for inbetween.
