Designer Supplements expands into Sports Nutrition!

Long Island, New York – July 1st, 2006
At approximately the same time Designer Supplements moves into its brand new state-of-the-art, 5,000 Square Foot headquarters in Oceanside, New York, Designer Supplements announces launch of its third branch of the company – Designer Nutrition™!

Designer Nutrition will provide the physique-oriented and athletically inclined all of their sports nutritional needs including high-quality proteins, meal replacements, protein bars, weight gainer, and pre, during and post-workout nutrition. As with all products released by the Designer Supplements brand, each product will be well researched with substantial scientific backing and backed with fantastic customer service. While many of the products released under the Designer Nutrition line will be straight-forward and no-nonsense, several planned releases will encompass the True Innovation™, always associated with Designer Supplements.

The debut release from the line will be a high-quality protein blend subtly titled, SUSTAIN™. SUSTAIN™ is ideal for use between meals and before bed as it will have both fast and slow-release peptides to ensure that you sustain an anabolic environment for as long as possible. And it will taste sublime. SUSTAIN™ is scheduled for a near-immediate release in delicious Peanut Butter Fudge (more flavors to follow). Followed hot on its heels, DN will release two new products – the SUSTAIN Bar™, the accompanying meal-replacement protein bar also in Peanut Butter Fudge flavor, and of course, the eagerly-anticipated post-workout formula, Replenish™, in Green Apple Pie flavor. Other products already under construction for Designer Nutrition include Critical Mass™, a high-quality, no-nonsense weight gainer, with a more practical approach than the typical sugar-filled weight gainers available on the market today. So this Fire and Ice stuff is like BCAA's? And when is Critical Mass being released for i do not see it on the Future products list on the web site?

how much are these things going to cost? how long are they going to last?

Looking forward to try these new supplements. Just started taking Xceed the past few weeks and enjoying the product.
 
Two suggestions on Xceed, 1) the scoop handle which is about an 1" should be longer so when the product is reduced in the container one's hand won't get stuck in the container since the neck opening is not that large. I've had scoops with 3" handles, makes it a lot easier when the container is close to empty.  2) The container states 45 servings which is about 200+ grams @ 1tsp. per serving); however, there seems to be more product than that in the container. The container should state the actual amount of Xceed in grams.

Nice, i would be excited as well.  Lots of opportunity here.

Will we be seeing custom nutritional/supplementation programs in the future and/or general daily (weekly to monthly) stacks?

Daily nutritional/supplementation consisting of

scheduled (activate, melting point, etc, spead throught the day)
morning
mid morning
pre workout
during workout
post workout
between meals
snacking
bed time
etc....

Along with balanced whole food meals through out the day. 

I hope this all works out for you.  5000 sq ft is a nice sized office.  Congrats.  Im sure you'll be headed to a bigger office soon.

SUSTAIN is a blended protein, whose primary ingredient is high quality micellar casien.  There is also whey in there as well.  Finally, we add a touch of inulin to improve taste, texture, add fiber, and slow digestion.
 
And it tastes awesome.

You can't compare Sustain to a Dymatize-type product in terms of quality or price, because high quality casein and whey protein isolate which are found in Sustain are not cheap.  Rest assure, though, Sustain will be both first-rate, and first class.

We will keep Fire and Ice under wraps for now. 
 
To be honest, as of right now there is not a specific date of release for Critical Mass.  DS is concentrating on a number of other products and releases before CM.  We will definitely let you know in the future though.

Yeah, Xceed generally has between 50-55 servings per container.  We've actually had a few instances where there was close to 60 servings in people's container's. 

Actually, XCEED is being repackaged and relabeled as part of the Nutrition line.  I will see what we can do about a longer scoop.

That's great news and exciting as well.  Looking forward to hearing a lot more about this Twin!
