It really depends on each person. I've seen people with huge arms that only curl 40lb db's, on the other hand I've seen much smaller people properly curling 70lb db's. It really all comes down to you and your body and of course your diet and training routine. I know that is a vague answer but the question is just far to open ended to have a specific answer.
