With a decent amount of extra weight to lose, it's definitely possible to increase strength and muscle as you lose that fat- Once you get closer to your goal of 200 pounds, you'll notice that strength/muscle gains under a calorie deficit will be harder to come by. Nice work so far though, keep it up!
