Deadlifts + Bench one session

I haven't had a lot of time to lift. Would it be constructive to do deadlifts and bench press in the same day to hit many muscles? If so what other lifts would fit on this day?

It's fine, you would benefit more from the hormonal benefits the deadlift gives you. I bench more efficiently when squatting then benching than benching first, because of the hormonal benefits --- testosterone, GH, etc.

i squat first, then bench, then OHP, then deadlift/row. all 5X5s in a single day 3X a week. some say it's too much volume. but i dont want to split them..

I would not do this. I know a lot of people have success with 5 x 5 programs that have you doing heavy upper body and lower body lifts on the same day, but I think you will make better strength gains focusing more on a specific kind of movement each day, i.e. pressing day, squatting day, deadlift day, etc. Also, if you are doing an arched back, powerlifting-style bench press (which I believe you should), your lower back is going to be too tired to deadlift. And that's if you bench first. If you deadlift first, and you really give it your all, forget about benching afterwards, it's just not happening.
